Greetings! My name is Blake Peugh, and I am delighted to begin my ninth year as the Native English Teacher (NET) at Buddhist Chan Wing Kan Memorial School. Although I am originally from the United States, Hong Kong has truly become my home. It has been a privilege to be part of this vibrant school community, and I am eager to continue supporting our students as they grow in confidence and enthusiasm for English.
This year, I will be overseeing the English programme for all Primary 1, Primary 2, and Primary 3 students. I will also be teaching classes in Primary 1 and Primary 3. Our English programme is designed to be holistic and dynamic, blending reading, writing, speaking, and listening activities to create an engaging and interactive learning environment. My goal is to inspire students to enjoy learning English and to help them develop strong communication skills that will benefit them both inside and outside the classroom.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss your child’s progress, please feel free to reach out at any time. I look forward to another rewarding and successful year together, and to seeing our students thrive and achieve their best.

Hello everyone! My name is Otto and I am very excited to be working at Buddhist Chan Wing Kan Memorial School throughout this academic year. I will be working as a Chatteris Native Speaking English Tutor as established through the school’s continued partnership with Chatteris Educational Foundation and am thrilled to be working as part of the English department to help further our students’ English language skills!
Throughout my time here, I will be teaching guided reading lessons for P4/5 as well as P6 speaking lessons to help students practise and prepare for their secondary school interviews. The other Chatteris tutor and I shall be working hard throughout the year to also host a variety of English speaking games and activities to encourage students to practise their English skills in a more relaxed setting.
I am from Scotland and cannot wait to explore around Hong Kong during my time off! I look forward to meeting everyone throughout the school year, so please do not hesitate to come up and say hello.
